Once upon a time, on a quiet farm near a peaceful pond, a mother duck sat patiently on her nest. One by one, her eggs cracked open. Out popped fluffy yellow ducklings—cheep, cheep!

But the last egg was bigger than the others. When it finally hatched, a strange little bird appeared. He was gray, awkward, and much bigger than his brothers and sisters.

“Oh my,” said the mother duck kindly, “you do look different.”

The other ducklings whispered and laughed.
“You’re ugly,” they said.
The little duckling felt very sad.

Everywhere he went, animals pointed at him. Even the chickens chased him away. With a heavy heart, the ugly duckling decided to leave the farm.

He walked and walked, feeling lonely. Soon winter arrived. The pond froze, and cold winds blew. The little duckling struggled to survive, but he never gave up. A kind farmer found him and kept him warm through the winter.

When spring came, the duckling saw his reflection in the water. But this time, he was no longer gray and awkward. He had grown into a beautiful white swan with long wings and a graceful neck.

“I’m not ugly,” he whispered happily. “I’m a swan!”

The other swans welcomed him warmly. The ugly duckling was ugly no more—he had simply been growing into who he was meant to be.

That night, under the golden sunset, the swan floated peacefully on the pond, finally happy and loved.

And with that gentle thought, the world grew quiet…
🌙✨ Good night.
